Firmware update for Seven & Seventeen and installation of sample expansions

The sample expansions for Seven are compatible with Seventeen. Just copy all the content of the folder (unzipped) onto the root of a blank USB Memory Stick, then safely remove the USB Memory from your computer and connect it to the SYSTEM USB port of your Seven or Seventeen. For Seveneteen: enter the menu and then find the function for installing the new samples, confirm. It will list all the compatible sample content present in the USB memory stick you plugged. Follow instruction and confirm. For Seven, just access the editor and click in the relative button.

The operation can also last 30 seconds, so please wait patiently until the content is installed. In case non of the USB drives at your disposal work, I suggest buying a Kingston or a Sandisk USB driver, or even Lacie or Samsung. Please avoid Trascend, Emtec or any other bulk/unknown cheap drive. Every time you have to disconnect the drive from your computer, i.e. after having copied a file, use the safe removal procedure as requested by your operating system. Be sure it is FAT32 formatted and be sure to unzip files before put them in the USB stick.

Crumar Seventeen doesn't need any firmware update in order to install new sound expansions: the function is already present in the menu.
